Michael Erlewine

In May of 2008 I was asked to be part of a video crew to film the first visit to the U.S. by His Holiness, Orgyen Trinley Dorje, the 17th Karmapa and the head of the Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, much as the 14th Dalai Lama is head of the Gelugpa Lineage. He came to his seat in North Americal at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra (KTD) in the mountains above Woodstock, New York.

It was an incredible experience and at the time I put together a 208-page 13”x11” book of photos which was only made available in print-on-demand format, each copy costing over $100. I finally have taken the time to make an e-book version of the book for those interested in seeing this marvelous event. Please share it only with those who would be interested in such a special dharma event.
